The usual reason to be here is that something will only accept a PDF. Screenshots of a booking confirmation, a scanned form saved as PNG, a receipt, a diagram going into a submission: the file is fine and the container is wrong, and the system on the other end does not care about the difference.
Each PNG becomes a one-page PDF, and the page is the shape of the picture. Nothing is scaled to A4 and no margin is added, because a page that matches the image prints and displays predictably, while a picture floated in the middle of a letter-sized sheet is a decision nobody asked for. A PNG is placed into the PDF losslessly, so every pixel survives the trip.
What does not survive is the ability to select anything. A screenshot of a page of text is a picture of text, and putting it in a PDF does not make the words words. Search inside the result and you will find nothing. If you need real text, the document has to start as text; converting the picture back needs OCR, which nothing on this site does.

Questions about PNG to PDF
What size will the page be?
The size of your image, at 72 points to the inch. A 1200 by 900 pixel screenshot becomes a page 1200 by 900 points, which is a slightly unusual shape but prints and reads without anyone noticing. The alternative would be forcing everything onto A4, which either shrinks a wide screenshot into a strip with white above and below it, or crops a tall one. Matching the picture is the option that never surprises you.
Can I combine several PNGs into one PDF?
Not here, where each image becomes its own PDF. If the answer to "how many files should they receive" is one, use <a href="/images-to-pdf">images to PDF</a>: it keeps the order you set, puts each picture on its own page, and is the right tool for a multi-page form photographed or screenshotted a page at a time. Merging afterwards is also possible with <a href="/merge-pdf">merge PDF</a>, but doing it in one step is less work.
Will the text in my screenshot be searchable?
No, and no browser-based tool can make it so. Your screenshot is a grid of coloured pixels that happens to look like writing; the PDF holds that grid faithfully and knows nothing about the letters in it. Making them searchable means running optical character recognition, guessing at each shape, which needs a trained model and gets things wrong in ways you have to proofread. Tools that offer it are doing it on a server, with your document.
How big will the PDF be?
Close to the size of the PNG, plus a small amount for the document structure around it. There is no compression pass and no downscaling, deliberately: most people converting to PDF are sending it somewhere it will be read or printed, and quietly degrading it would be the wrong default. If the result is too heavy for an upload limit, <a href="/compress-image-to-500kb">compress the image first</a> and then convert.
