support desk, no ticket number and no newsletter waiting to add you to it.
What is worth writing about
A file that would not convert. This is the most useful message you can
send. Say what the file was, roughly how big, what you were converting it to, and what
the tool said. Please do not attach the file itself, see below.
A conversion that is missing, and what you needed it for.
Something that looks wrong on your phone or in your browser. Which
browser and which device is the useful part.
Anything about privacy, including if you think the claim on this site
is overstated. That one gets answered first.
Please do not send files
The whole point of this site is that your files never leave your device, and emailing one
to a stranger is the opposite of that. A description of the file is nearly always enough to
reproduce the problem: the format, the rough size, where it came from. If a file genuinely
cannot be described, say so and we will work out something better than an inbox.
Why there is no contact form
A form has to send your message to a server, and there is no server here. Adding one for
the sake of appearances would mean running exactly the kind of thing the rest of the site
exists to avoid. An email address is less pretty and entirely honest.
