How to convert WebP to JPG

What changes, and what does not
Transparency is lost
WebP can hold see-through pixels and JPG cannot. Anything transparent is filled with the colour you pick in the panel, white unless you change it. If you need the transparency, PNG, WebP and AVIF all keep it.
Animation is lost
A WebP can hold many frames and a JPG holds one, so you get the first frame as a still image. A browser canvas cannot write animation back out, and a converter that claims to is doing it on a server with your file.
The loss compounds
Both formats throw detail away to get small, so a WebP that was already compressed once is compressed again on the way to JPG, this time including the artefacts of the first pass. Convert from the original rather than from a copy, and do it once.
Colour
WebP: 16.7 million, plus transparency, in both lossy and lossless modes. JPG: 16.7 million, with no transparency at all.

How much smaller will the file be?
It depends on the quality you choose. At the default the result is usually a little smaller, because JPG is the more efficient of the two, but the honest answer is that you are re-compressing something already compressed and the gain is modest. Drop the quality and the file drops with it.
Can I convert it back afterwards?
Each pass loses a little more, so a file converted back and forth repeatedly will visibly degrade. Once is fine. Doing it as a habit is not. Always start from whichever copy has been compressed fewest times.

Will the quality change?
JPG is lossy, so the image is decoded and re-encoded and a little detail is dropped. At high quality this is invisible. Convert once from your original rather than repeatedly, because each pass compounds.
What happens to transparency?
JPG cannot store it. Any transparent area is filled with the colour you choose in the panel, which defaults to white. If you need the transparency kept, convert to PNG, WebP or AVIF instead.
